Additional Requirements for Minors

Parents requesting a short-stay visa for their minor child must fulfill the following additional Spain visa requirements:

Birth certificate
Court order for families when just one parent has sole legal custody of the child.
Certified copies of each parent’s ID or passport.
If the child will be travelling with someone else alone:
An original and a copy of the accompanying person’s passport which includes the information of the holder, the date of expiry, a current photo, and a copy of a valid visa.
A notarized, jointly signed, parental or guardian permission form for the trip to Spain.
