2). Applicant is required to present a Valid Passport & UK Residence Permit. The passport should be issued in less than 10 years from the date of application. It should have at least 2 blank pages & valid for a minimum of 3 months from the intended date of return from Latvia.

3). Applicant should submit 2 recent passport-sized photographs along with the Visa Application form. The photograph should be sharply focused & display all the facial characteristics of the applicant. It should be taken on a white background.

4). Applicant should present Proof of Accommodation at the Embassy. These include confirmed hotel bookings, rental agreements or guesthouse bookings bearing details of applicant’s entire stay in Latvia.

5). Applicant should present the original document & copy of Travel Insurance Certificate at Embassy. It should have a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000 for applicant’s complete stay in Latvia & other Schengen member states.

6). Applicant is required to carry Proof of Transportation (such as flight tickets/train tickets/driving license/vehicle registration documents) to & from the Schengen Area. The documents must bear applicant’s name & correct dates of travel.

7). A travel itinerary & cover letter stating the purpose of travel to Latvia & Schengen Zone should be presented at the Embassy. In case, applicant’s stay is sponsored by applicant’s family member or friend, an “Attestation Accursed” letter, host’s passport copies & other necessary details are to be presented at the Embassy.

8). Applicant is required to present the documents that support his civil status such as Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate of children & Ration Card, if applicable.

9). Applicant is required to present proof of Sufficient means of Sustenance to cover the expenses during stay in Latvia & Schengen Area.

The overall amount required to cover the duration of 10 days is EUR 583.74, however, if the stay exceeds 10 days, the required amount for 1 day is EUR 64.86.

• A letter/pension statement from job center (for last 6 months from the date of application).

• Certificate from Employer affirming your business travel
• Invitation Letter from the company in Latvia
